]]> The Fat of the Land es el tercer álbum de estudio del grupo inglés de música electrónica The Prodigy, lanzado el 30 de junio de 1997 a través de XL Recordings. El álbum recibió elogios de la crítica y encabezó la lista de álbumes del Reino Unido y el Billboard 200 de EE. UU. Ha vendido más de 10 millones de copias en todo el mundo hasta 2019 y es sin duda su disco más exitoso. Si bien Liam Howlett es generalmente responsable de casi todas las composiciones, Maxim Reality aparece acreditado en dos pistas, y es el primer disco que incluye contribuciones de Keith Flint.

La portada del álbum Fat of the Land presentaba una imagen de un cangrejo lunar de Halloween y un nuevo logotipo, en el que eliminan el artículo “The” y agregan una silueta de una hormiga. A modo de curiosidad, contar que en 1999, The Fat of the Land entró en el Libro Guinness de los récords como el álbum de baile más vendido en el Reino Unido.
